The FA Four Corner Model

Every report covers five key areas of player development:

  • Passing accuracy and range
  • Shooting technique and finishing
  • Dribbling and close control

2. Tactical Understanding

  • Positioning and spatial awareness
  • Decision making in different phases
  • Understanding of team shape
  • Game reading abilities

3. Physical Development

  • Speed and agility
  • Strength and power
  • Endurance and stamina
  • Coordination and balance

4. Psychological Factors

  • Confidence and self-belief
  • Concentration and focus
  • Resilience and determination
  • Leadership qualities

5. Social Skills

  • Respect for teammates and opponents
  • Attitude towards learning

Report Structure

Each report includes:

  • Header: Player name, age, position, and report period
  • Executive Summary: Key highlights and progress overview
  • Detailed Analysis: Assessment across all five areas
  • Strengths: What the player does well
  • Areas for Development: Specific improvement targets
  • Action Plan: Next steps and training recommendations

Age-Appropriate Language

The AI automatically adjusts language based on player age:

  • Under 10s: Simple, encouraging language

  • 15+ years: Comprehensive analysis with tactical depth

Reports are designed to be shared with parents while providing coaches with professional development insights.
